Canadian Culture and Arts Groups Association News on August 10th] The 2nd Toronto Dragon Culture Festival 2019 will be held in Toronto City Hall Plaza from September 6th to 8th.
The Toronto Dragon Festival, co-sponsored by the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto and the Canadian Chinese Culture and Art Association, was established in 2018 to better integrate China's outstanding traditional culture into the Canadian mainstream and further enrich Canadian diversity, colour and atmosphere of culture.
This activity is based on the principle of interaction between the host and the guest and encourages the active participation of the public. Participants can experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture and provide a unique cultural exchange platform for both Chinese and Canadians.
The successful hosting of the first Dragon Culture Festival in 2018 attracted tens of thousands of tourists.
The giant dragon lights on Toronto's City Hall Square, with red lanterns hanging high around it to show the beautiful performances of Chinese and Western artists, as well as the gorgeous scenery and cultural style of Chinese and Western combinations.

The Chinese Consulate General in Toronto and the Canadian Chinese Cultural and Art Groups Association will hold a press conference at the 2019 (Second) Toronto Dragon Culture Festival at 11:00 am on August 19, 2019 to introduce the cultural festival in detail to Chinese and foreign media.
